Langkah-langkah setting NetZAP pada Mandriva Linux 2008
- Jalankan Mandriva Linux Control Center (Menu->Tools->System Tools->Configure Your Computer)
- Kalau diminta, masukkan password root,
- Dari Mandriva Linux Control Center, pilih tab "Network & Internet", kemudian klik pada "Set up a new network interface (LAN, ISDN, ADSL, ...)"
- Pada "Choose the connection you want to configure", pilih DSL, klik Next
- Network interface, pilih salah satu (jika memiliki dua network card atau lebih)
- Pada bagian select provider, pilih "Unlisted - edit manually"
- Pada pilihan connection protocol, pilih "PPP over Ethernet (PPPoE)"
- Selanjutnya, masukkan username dan password netZAP, bagian "Advanced" biarkan kosong
- Untuk setting-an yang lain, silahkan pilih sesuai kebutuhan

1. Download software hpHosts-Setup-Win32.exe (517K) dan hosts.zip (310K)

3. Hosts File Installation (Windows)
Ekstrak file (hosts.zip) dalam folder di hard disk. Lokasikan file dengan nama HOSTS.TXT (copy) kemudian letakkan file tersebut (paste). Lihat alamat direktorinya berdasarkan windows yang anda gunakan:

C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\Etc - Windows NT/2000
C:\Winnt\System32\Drivers\Etc - Windows 95/98/Me

Jika semua sudah Anda lakukan kemudian coba anda cek masing-masing situs yang sudah di blok pada file HOST.TXT.
Perhatian !!! Anda harus terus mengupdate file HOST.TXT karena pertumbuhan website makin hari makin cepat berdatangan silih berganti.
